Not sure what you need. But take note on how it comes apart then put the new one back the same way.

The old jeeps are like the gm colums. Stevos right about the tools you need. You need to get behind the turn signal cam. Im pretty sure its a spring re retainer. Push a small rectangle lookin piece down once everythings out of the way. It will pull right out. Some may have a bolt holding it in.

Are you referring to the ignition lock or switch?

To replace the ignition just take off the wheel and remove the lock plate and then remove the blinker assembly behind all that u will remove a screw that holds the ignition in and just put the ignition lock in the on position and just pull it straight out and put the new one back in and put everything back together should only take u 30min tops

If your steering wheel is sloppy it might be a good time to get that fixed because you will be halfway to the loose bolts when you get to the ignition lock.
