I replaced my headliner looks great now. So glad i did it. Make sure to get some good glue!!!!!!!! For the carpet, you can rent a rug doctor with the attachment and it does a really good job, but if your jeep never had the carperts cleaned, then it will take you a long time, i think i had over 15 buckets of dirty water that came out, looks alot better.

yup. tried to hold the front up by tucking it under the sun visors. but that didn't work very well.
got a bit of a crease cuz it sorta folded near the back, but you can't tell now that it's in.

if you have bad carpet stains that won't come out a good trick is a damp terry cloth placed on stain and an iron over top of it..
EDIT: I need to replace my headliner but I'm almost positive it doesn't have a board, I stuck my fingers through a hole and didn't feel one... and I'm sure its original ??

The carpet is tan so I figured I am just going to order new carpet now instead, I already ordered black head liner kit and my new front seats will be black as well

Nice headliner work. Mine needs to be replaced soon, so this is a very helpful thread for me.
Just wondering...has anyone dyed their carpet? Mine is dark gray and very stained. I'd like to slowly replace as much of my interior as possible with black, but I don't feel like paying for all that carpet.
