Well, I don't wanna lowball and insult you, but for the entire harness, I could pay $100-$150 sometime soon. I'm waiting for my new job to start, so that's holding me back right now. The junkyard would charge around $50 or so, so I'm not sure right now.

So, would you keep it for around $100? I'd like to be able to just pull it from the console donor since its in virtually perfect condition, but I don't know if a 91 harness would work in a 93. Any idea on that? Seems like it would

Cool, thank you, OD! I may be able to get it tomorrow, actually. Checked online and they'll want between $15 and $25 for the harness. Anything I should know beforehand, though? Tips, tricks, no-no's....Anything?

Grab as much of the harness for thr sensor under the grill up front. And don't forget the sensor. Also don't forget the ohc brackets...... oh and take a chunk of coardboard and a sharpie. So you can get templates of what you need to cut out of the headliner

Oh, one thing I think would be important....The donor '91 is a 4.0 AW4, while mine is a 2.5 AX-5. Would that mean I want to leave out the engine side of the harness?

Thank again, OD! I ended up finding a diagram for the console wiring, and then one for the Jeep harness. Just a matter of sort and match the wires to their functions. Only ended up using four total: White/ black chaser for 12V switched, I forget which is ground, then purple/green and blue/something for the temp probe. Works perfectly with only a couple degrees variation in temp.
Now I'm wondering if there's a calibration procedure for the compass. It seems a bit off, reading NE when I'm going pretty much directly north, verified with hand compass.

Yep, got it figured out. Had to set the variation to my region, which is 4. Now it's reading pretty much dead on. Pretty easy to install, as it turned out....Just four wires of the I think ten in the harness. Should be pretty awesome after I get my headliner fixed and installed
