The catalyst inside of my converter is busted loose so I need to replace it. My buddy said he tried to have it replaced under the recall before I bought it from him but they wouldnt since it was welded on, it was broken off once during a 4-wheel outting. So how much would a factory replacement converter cost? Or did anyone ever figure out if the $40 EBay ones listed a while back were legal to use a replacement? The rattling is just really annoying and i'm sure its not good for the mpgs or anything.

x2. Did the Magnaflow cat & Dynomax cat back myself. Quality is good, flows & sounds better than stock without being too loud, and it won't break the bank.
