I need to replace the engine in my jeep, having looked for awhile locally with no luck. I found a place called Engine and transmission world. They have motor with 72,000 miles a little over a grand free shipping and no core to deal with not too bad of a deal. My question would be has anybody dealt with this place before ? Checked them out and the comments were positive but dropping that much cash just trying to get as much info as possible, Thanks all.

 

Personally I wouldn't spend a grand on any used engine unless I knew the history of the engine for a fact. People can and will say anything to sell something. Are you sure you can't find a shop locally to rebuild yours? There's a machine shop close to me that sells long block 4.0 for $1495 and that includes a 12 month unlimited mileage warranty.
