replaced wheel bearings still slight noise
ok so today i replaced my rear wheel bearings along with the axle seals, changed out the diff oil. took about 2 hours to do everything the slide hammer was a pita to use but it got done. so after replacing everything the noise that i was hearing before deffently went away, but i am still hearing a slight noise and it is coming from the rear end. i checked the shafts and axle housing and they are all smooth with no grooves or anything and the gears look perfect. so my question is what could be causing the noise?

Yes, the pads could be rubbin, could be an intermittent rub within the drum or on the rotor, these are not always concentric and running true as they tend to distort with heat cycles. It could also be the park brakes (like a little set of drums) withing the rotos if you have rear disc system. Perhaps jack the rear and rotate by hand or have a friend drive real slow in parking lot and walk along beside.
