Default Replaced Headlight switch still no lights!

01 Cherokee Sport

Went to turn on my headlights and the **** pulled right out and wouldn't go back in. The highbeams still worked though. Got a new switch and the headlights don't work at all now, not even the highbeams. I haven't had a chance to get at the headlights with a multimeter to see if they're getting current. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Never mind guys I figured it out! The 30amp fuse in the PDC was blown. It had such a small fracture that I overlooked it twice. I replaced it anyways and turns out that was the problem.

A blown fuse is the RESULT of the problem.. Telling you there is a problem. Putting a new fuse in does not fix your issue.

This is exactly what I'm thinking. Something in the switch must have shorted either when it broke or possibly when I was removing it. New switch in and fuse has yet to blow.
