Default Replace rear hatch and side window

So the stupid *** protected tree on our lawn dropped one of its stupid branches on my jeep and shattered the drivers rear quarter window and the window on the hatch. It doesnt look like there is any damage or deformed areas on my jeep weirdly enough it hit the roof and somehow shattered the windows. How would i even begin to replace these?

Safelite repair. Safelite replace

just make some phone calls to some local glass shops. Much easier for the cost involved to just pay them to do it.

That's why I spend $14 a year for total glass coverage. I replaced my windshield last year for the same reason. Tree branch.

The cargo bay window on the driver's side is a piece of cake. It is just the gasket holding it in. I swapped out all my "tinted" (which is not really tinted) glass for factory privacy glass. Found a boneyard Jeep to steal it from. Now the hatch glass was a different story. I paid to have that done. My guy charged to $100 to remove the glass from the boneyard Jeep, remove the glass from my Jeep, and swap in the privacy glass. I bought a new gasket from my Jeep Dealership for the hatch. Cost about $33. Could I have done it myself? Maybe. Sometimes I just think somethings are better left to the pros.

I changed my right rear quarter glass myself with one I bought from pull a part ($33.00) it was pretty easy to remove the broken stuff and the new/used glass at the yard but man I fought that sucker putting it back in it took me about 2 hours to get it I am sure it would have been a lot easier with a new rubber seal that was not all old and hard but if I had to do it again I think ill pay someone else to do it

on second thought I think I would go get the new/used glass myself and then just pay for the install

Dude -- seriously!?!

Do you have any idea who cursed you, or what sort of ritual/belief system it was? I mean, if we know -what- the curse is, we can start to figure out how to get rid of it.

While the rope trick did not quite work for me as well as it could still was a piece of cake. I had invested in one of these to get the windows out of the boneyard Jeep and used them to help pry the the rubber gasket out here and there for the install after the rope trick failed somewhat.

Ugh i havent even had a chance to call anywhere for an estimate..... But a friend was so generous enough to give me a window from a donor jeep he had and is privacy glass to match too! But the hatch im gonna have someone do it.... and maybe a new windshield this one is still factory and is hard to see out of. As for pathenrys comment. At this point its a normal thing in my life i atleast have to have 3-5 bad obnoxious things happen each month lol. for each good there is always a bad. or i just have horrible luck.
