Does anyone know where i can purchase a rear tailight harness from? Mine are in bad shape all of the bulb sockets are barely hanging on. Dont find many Cherokees at the local junkyard, Seen a couple on ebay but would prefer "new" if possible

Harness used only.
You can buy new sockets though. They're for a Ford application IIRC.
Check out the Dorman HELP section at your local parts store.

I'm going to harp grounds grounds grounds.
There's no such thing as too many good ground wires and fresh clean connections.
Our wiring and grounds were less than ideal when new. Throw in 20-30 years of quiet creeping micro corrosion between the strands inside the wires insulation jacket...... lights are dimmer than when they were new, power windows slow down, amp draw goes up, heater switches start frying.
I think everyone's getting the picture.
