Default Renix sensors

After a weeling trip with my 89 xj renix stroker with very low miles on new engine ive ran into a problem.
cold start low idle returns to normal as it warms up.
When driving sometimes my idle stays high 1100rpms when shifting gears (manual trans) all sensors are new . it used to start up like a beast now it starts like a sheep!

Your's idles lower than mine. Mine will sit at 1500+ very frustrating. I haven't solved mine yet and I've thrown a lot of new sensors on it (not necessarily to solve this problem, but more since they were old and probably original). One of the guys at work thought the computer might be getting some whacky data from a sensor (possibly a high resistance or a short or something in the wiring causing the computer to see a high or low signal). I have no scanner that will work with my Comanche available to me so I haven't been able to check on that theory yet. If I could see some computer data I might have a better starting place instead of just randomly shooting in the dark.

It's likely not a sensor at all.

Go to www.cruiser54.com and complete Tips 1,3,4, and 5 before doing anything else.
