Default renix push button start...now no temp?

As the title says...temp gauge does not work after push button start. Didn't think any column wiring had anything to do with this but...hoping someone has had a similar issue and found the solution before I have to go back in there. Thanks!

Retrace your steps. Only temp gauge inop?

Did you knock the temp sender wire off the back of the head while running any new wires?

All the work I did was under the dash at the column...when I turn my acc/ign switch on, the temp needle pegs itself immediately. Then I hit the start button. After it fires up and runs, the needle falls back to zero...and even after a highway trip, it won't move. Weird. Maybe its a ground?
