Doing a head gasket for the first time any help would be great! Parts i should get kits tools ect write ups videos anything to point me in a good direction. I got over 300k on the motor found some traces of oil in my coolant figured i got the time its going to need to get don sooner than later lets get her done!! At 300K miles, and it was my Jeep, I'd yank the whole engine and build it.

 

Oil in coolant Eh, not coolant in oil? I'd probably start with a wet/dry compression test. It's nice to know those numbers before you start for allot of reasons. One being you might change your mind!

I'd hit the manifold bolts/studs, and the header flange bolts/nuts with PB or something days ahead.......
