Default Renix injector upgrade (volvo injectors?)

I was told by a member on naxja that theres a set of Volvo injectors that hes currently using in his 1990 jeep xj and this was my first hearing about this.
Hes selling me them cheap but I'd like to find out whats what and if it even works first!

He said they are Volvo 0280155746. I'm looking for plug & play injectors on my 88 jeep xj, so if these work I'll grab them. He told me they are plug & play and flow 19lbs at 43PSI but I'd rather ask the pros before I buy something thats useless to me!

Hello. I actually have a set of these laying around somewhere..One of the many I've grabbed over the years just to see what they were about. Anyway..This is basically the same injector as the more commonly known Ford "yellow stick" 710 injector..Just search this site for 0280155710 for information. The only real difference between the Volvo one and the Ford one is that at least the Volvo one uses the "clip nuts" to hold them onto the fuel rail. Since both of these flow at a lot less rate than stock XJ injectors (210 vs 238) normally you need to upgrade to a 49psi fuel pressure regulator in the older Jeeps to make it as good an upgrade as the 703 "Neon" ones.

But that all being said, as someone who has personally run every possible injector that will fit in my own XJ for extended periods..if these Volvo injectors are clean they will be a step up performance wise over your stock injectors even at the lower flow rate just because of the 4 port design.

And that's all I've got to say about that.
