Default Renix idle

1990 4.0 5 speed, runs good but has high idle after warm up about 1500 rpm new IAC and a vacuum leak repaired so high idle when warm. Anything ossicular with renix idle?

Any codes? Do you have the ability to put a scanner on it? Sure would be nice to know what some of the readings are.
Have you checked the vacuum lines or put a vacuum gauge on it? Sounds stupid, but have you checked for any obstructions or binding with the accelerator cables? Make sure the throttle is closing like it should.

They don't throw codes.

OP needs to visit www.cruiser54.com and complete tips 1,3,4, and 5 first. Then, test the throttle position sensor.
