Renix gauge cluster swap
My 87 2.5 XJ Pioneer has all the gauges except the tach. I'm about to buy a friends 90 4.0 Laredo with the full gauge package for parts. If I swap the 90 cluster in my 87, will the tach read correctly? I've searched, and found that it will work on newer XJs, but I haven't found much on Renix era 4.0 to 2.5 gauge swaps.
If it won't work with my 2.5, no big deal, I'll just put it in my MJ instead. But I'd rather have it in the XJ, since its my dd.
