I'm making the transition to MPI on my 2.5L 4banger renix with mainly '92 parts. Have the intake, injectors, TB, engine electrical harness, etc. I'm updating the crankshaft position sensor- will I need to replace the flywheel or should it be the same from 1987-1992? The part I think I need is LFW195
( http://www.ebay.com/ctg/LuK-LFW195-C...heel-/79021526 ) but do I already have that part on the old block?

This is on a 1987 with a single injector atop the throttle body, not carb but not MPI. I already have the ECU, engine harness, sensors, intake manifold and injectors, fuel rail, throttle body, etc for a '91-'95 emissions system. All of the Renix system is already removed and I'm cleaning it up to use it elsewhere. The engine bay is desolate, but no headaches yet. Jeep electronics and emissions systems don't bother me at all.
My wife wrecked her 95 2x4 XJ, smashed the from end but engine is still good. it did bend the frame and subframe where steering box is mounted. I found an 87 XJ 4x4 with no motor. Can I drop the engine from the 95 in place of the 87, or should I take the front end of the 87 off and turn the 95 into a 4x4? Will they even match up?
