Can i ease a screwdriver behind them and remove them without damaging them.I want to remove them and spray paint them black. I had a older bronco and they popped right off and popped back in. I know its a simple question i just want to damage them

^^^ yep.

Theres also an "eraser" that removes glue/pinstriping etc from paint without damage. Installs into your drill, available at most parts stores.

What about the one on the header panel in the front on 97-01? Are they stick on too? I want to take it off my 2000 but I dont want holes.

Should be but you should be able to look at it and tell if it's double sided tape or screws/rivets..Although I do believe it is double sided tape on them as well.. Also on mine each leader is a separate piece...

Another trick I think someone posted when I asked about this was to use dental floss...hold it tight then slide it between the body and the letters and slice it off with ease..Not sure it works but someone did post that it did..

On mine there were holes under the emblems. IDK what year they changed it, but I just used a little bondo to patch the holes and sanded them clean. It turned out fine, I left the holes in the fenders cause they did not bother me enough to fill them. I had to fill the ones on the header panel though, they bothered me enough, I guess!! Later!!

I used heavy test fishing line to remove on cars Ive had in the past. Works better than dental floss.
