i am removing the engine harness.is there a way to take the electrical conections off without breaking the clips by the fuel injectors?

 

Some injectors connectors have safety clips need to be removed before disconnecting clips. Clips are brittle do to heat.

 

how do u remove them?

 

You have to slide the wire out from the connector before you can remove it. When you do this you more than likely will damage the plastic. You can retrofit to the new style that you simply push on the wire bail with your thumb and they will pull right off. You can buy the tool at NAPA to release the terminals from the old connectors.
