removing 93 xj tranny

Another thread was just started for this same thing.
There should only be one torx bolt on the drivers side, the rest are regular hex head bolts. Lower the tranny as much as you can to give yourself the most room. I used an air gun with an extension, but you should be able to get all the way in without an extension, just easier that way. It'd be awful tight having to turn a wrench in there.
My brother and I just replaced the clutch in his '93 a few days ago.

Got the tranny out finally. Those torx bolts r no joke. Finally got them out by removing plate around shifter hump. I jacked tranny all way up so there was no possible bindibng on them. Had to use bolt extractor to remove driver side torx. What a nightmare. I am putting standard head bolts in on the reinstall.
