Default Removable Sound Bar Install Help Needed

So I got my soundbar ready to install but to my surprise the middle is very flimsy as if it's missing a middle bracket. Is there a middle mount bracket for these sound bars? If so any idea where to find one besides a junk yard?

94 XJ Sport 4x4 4door thanks

Mine is like that too. But mine has a crack in the middle off it. It basically folded in half the first time I went to take it down

Yes there is a bracket. I have a spare bracket off a 1996 Cherokee, no screws or anything. If you need it I'd be willing to sell it to you for next to nothing.

Looks nice! Myself I'm running two 1" tweeters in the dash, two 5.25 speakers in the front doors, Two 6x9 speakers in the rear hatch, One 10" sub in the rear passenger side pocket (all rockford fosgate speakers), A 1400 watt 5-channel amp under the rear seat. Three pairs of RCA cables from the head unit (in dash) to amp (under the rear seat) 10 gauge from battery to amp. And the head unit runs off the fuse box. 1 day just to install all the wiring, another day to put in the head unit, speakers and amp. But it sounds great, like a concert hall. And I love it. Just cause your out in the wilderness, doesn't mean you cannot have good sounding tunes

Nice. Ya my next buy is gonna the 1200w 5 channel kenwood amp. I got 5.25" Polks in the front doors, 6.5" in the sound bar. Sounds good so far but it's running off the sony deck so once I get the amp it's gonna be kicken. Still not sure on what sub I'm gonna end up running. But I'm in no hurry for it tho.

It does pay to start with a good head unit, Mine is actually a sound processor (more than a head unit). That way I don't have to screw with the amp to adjust the sound. I have to tell it, the date, where I'm sitting, What model vehicle (sedan or SUV) , What freq. to send to which set of speakers, Super low freq. to the sub, low to mid's freq. to the 6x9's in the rear, mid to high freq. to the speakers up front. So it's actually like a big component system. My head unit is a Pioneer DEH-90 HDD It has a 10 gig. Hard drive attached. So it records any CD played in it. And holds approx. 160 hrs of music. You have to listen to the disc once. After that it is stored. I first saw them when they came out in 2000, Listed for $1800. I fell in love with it. Bought a refurbished one for $400 about 6 years ago. I almost forgot, comes with a credit card size remote control. Here is the specs.

Yup. It attaches to the roof with some of the 3M High Adhesive double sided tape. That and two screws that go in the end of it. Solid as a rock and hasnt had any issues with vibrating lose.

Found it at the junk yard. Was like $3. Look for an XJ with a cargo light. It's the same bracket as the one for the sound bar. Just need a Phillips screwdriver to remove it. Two screws then just pull on it and it comes right out.

What model year XJ did you get that off of? And does it have to be mounted in the back? I want mine to be mounted where my roof light is now which is in the middle. Did you have to cut holes in the head liner to put that in? I got a 93 2 door.
