yeah, it may take some time realigning, i rewelded a hinge last night that seperated all the way from the a-pillar. took me about 45 mins by myself to line the door back up and get it to shut good and fit the body lines. a buddy was over to help with it, if it would have been the weekend i woulda hacked the hinges for the doorless mod, but I can do that another day, or next spring since the weather isnt being so great anymore here in ohio.

believe it or not you can raise the door up and down if you have the hinge bolts loosend. i messed with that first, snugged a couple up, then adjusted to the body lines, then readjusted as necessary, PITA by yourself since my buddy had to get home, but i got it done.

 

My doors line up to my pinstriping they are just angled weird havnt really looked closely

 

How did you deal with wires? My xj has power window and locks, is there a plug available? I would like to be able to take off and put back on with ease.

 

I have all that, locks/mirros/windows and of course the speaker. behind the kickpanel, where the hood release is, there is 3 plugs. you unplug these, pull the rubber boot between door and a-pillar, then also there is a rubber plug or grommet that you can push out from that kick panel.

Literally took me 3 minutes to unhook the wires and get them outta the holes. and about the same to re hook them back up.

I have seen people doing quick disconnects, and one even where the plugs were mounted right on the a pillar in the door jamb.

 

You should have quick disconnects already.
