Rear windshield replacement
Ok guys I have a question for once. I just received my rear windshield from a member here a couple days ago and now I'm wondering how to install it. I have the old removed but wanna make sure install the new correctly so It don't fall out driving. I been looking everywhere for some instructions but can't find any is why I'm asking you folks. Thanks for any help.

Install the rubber seal around the glass. Lube up the seal inside where the the part of the window frame will be, use a silicone type of lube and use a lot of it. Find some twine, the type that is used for a lawn mower pull cord, but thinner. Put that twine in the groove, wrap it around a couple times and lube the hell out it too. Now place the window and seal into the bottom part of the opening making sure the seal is over the frame. Have a friend hold a slight pressure on the glass as you gentley pull the twine from the inside of the window. TAKE YOUR TIME! If you pull too fast or hard you will cut the sealing edge of the gasket, too much pressure on the glass will cause problems too. Be really carefull around the corners. Lube and taking your time are the keys to doing this job. Good luck!

That'll work.. no need to remove the trim panel though.
To start, slide it down and in on bottom, working up the sides and top as you fold the seal over and back on hatch.
Having someone push gently and holding in place outside helps.
