Default rear spring reversal

sorry folks cant find a thread on this anyone done this? looking to see how involved it is and what if any thing has to be changed aside from a longer rear drive line thanks all. read about this in jp but there was no specs on it. thanks again

For what purpose would you reverse the rear springs? I'm curious to see one done and wonder what the advantages or disadvantages would be

I would like to know some more info on this as well. I read it in JP also, I think he did it so he could fit bigger tires. I would think it would keep a bigger tire from hitting the rear door, kind of push the wheel base back some. Im going to try it for that reason and because im putting in a sterling 60. With the 60 I would like to think I could still use a stock front driveshaft. Let me know if it works for you, it will be some time before im ready

the purpose is to lengthen the wheel base. it makes the center pin offset to the rear instead of the front and like said above more for uphill and down hill stability from what i have read. it looks like the bottom of the rear quarter panel area would have to be cut and folded but i was plannibg on doin this for new bumper and clearance anyhow.

ya mine is on its way to bein hacked as well still would like a bit more info before i commit, i like the lots of luck n no talent bit haha sounds bout right on the mark for me!!

All the one's I've seen did a comp cut on the rear. It gives you a 6" stretch. You will need to move the gas tank and make new shock mounts as well as address the drive shaft.
