headlights are messed

Default headlights are messed

hey i have a 1991 Cherokee, when i use my headlights the low beams work just fine but then when i put on the high beams after a while they cut out, and i have to shut them off and wait a minute or so and then they work agian, what do yea think

check your grounds,behinde the light and on the body

would that only affect the high beams tho?

Check the switch for excessive heat... could be on it's way out.

This has happened to my rig twice in the last 10 years.

so the switch on the dash controls the high beams as well?

I dont think it controls the Hi beam but it does have the power going to them.
