As the link provided by nismo shows, you have to separate the leaf pack and cut the eyes off the top leaf. The s-15 pack doesn't fit as is, but you turn it into an AAL. I used the top 2 leaves from a stock XJ pack to lift my first XJ 3", and it had a really good ride as well.

I used just the main leaf from an S 10 with the eyes cut and mixed in the XJ pack. Give me 2" of lift and I like the ride also. Easy cheap way to lift. Way all the horror stories I read about sprigs bolts being rusted in, I dropped the rear end and split the packs with the main spring still bolted to the Jeep. rebuilding the packs like that was easy.

Get new U bolts and center pins for the springs. Go to a local spring shop and they can make you what you need. Most will make them while you wait. Theres good write ups on doing spring packs. If you never done springs , read them. lots of stored energy and things will fly if you don't do it right.
I used spacers in the front. The ones I used measure a true 2" so I took the stock isolators out and came up the thickness of the isolators too short. Need to put them back in. I also used the stock shocks for a ZJ in the front and MJ in the rear.

Ive done springs before just wanted to know if the ubolts were the correct length once you added a leaf, hence ordering stock replacement or needing longer ones not reusing them.

You also might want to take into account which area you live in. In Michigan, the issues with getting the parts off a junk yard heap might dissuade you. I had to cut the springs out of my 98 with a Matabo.
Good luck-
