Default Rear leaf spring help

So I just recently swapped out my dana 35 for an 8.25, everything is all hooked up,the swap went fine. But on the passenger side rear leaf there's a gap in between the top and second to top leaf. Any ideas of why this would happen? And how I can fix it? Any help at all would be great, thanks.

All I can think of is something between the two,or something not allowing it it to set down all the way. I would loosen it back up and see,it should be clear what is causing it.

The only thing I can suggest is to compare both sides under the same conditions, you have one side on boards and the other not, kinda of hard to see why,and see what the diff is. But it should not be a concern.

It'll should even out when you put the wheels on and drop it down.

You have the open clamps for better articulation, it's ok.

those style clamps usually have some type of chinsy sleeve that the bolt passes through... but the sleeve comonly rusts/breaks and falls off over a period of time so, still just like what everyone else said, no bog deal its fine....
