Rear leaf front bushing
Got a 98 with flat leafs, someone gave me some (?) amc leafs that are very close , I first wanted yo take out my leaf spring to get s better comparison but I can't get the front bushing bolt out, it just feels like its gonna snap ....I can't see how it's in there ....anyone been here before ?

Done that. I'm using certified FREE, let it sit a while, the bolt moved but I heard nothing which worries me....should I keep cranking and hope it doesn't snap ...If it does what am I getting into...

Keep cranking it out. I had to open up the metal sleeves in the bushings a bit to get it out, wedged a screwdriver in the sleeves and spread it. If it snaps, try to cut the other end off (the end in the nut) far enough out to get vice grips on. If that doesn't work you'll probably have to drill and retap.
