a spool is something you can install that completely locks your axle at all times... im gonna run one in my D44... but i dont think they made them for the 8.25 or d35... and the 8.25 from what i understand is also a C clipped axle... the mini spool is only $50 and the full spool is carrier specific but stronger...

 

8.25 is c-clipped so no spool available. Basically both wheels turn all the time at the same speed so when cornering your inside wheel will slide often making a chirping noise.

 

So its a cheap locker kinda. Well that sux there isnt one for the 8.25. Guess Ill have to get a D44. lol( I wish)

 

thinking about buying this pair of axles... if i do my D44 goes up for sale... lol
