Default Rear Hatch Door problems

The other day i shut my rear hatch door after i finished loading a bunch of camping stuff only to realize that once i got home the door would no longer open. Its not locked, the handle seems to almost be "stripped out" i guess you could say. Anyone know what im trying to explain and how to fix it at home??? my neighbor is a locksmith and he told me i would have to take it to a body shop.

all you can do is if you can is take off the rear interior door panel and see what broke or fell off. most likley you will break the panel off. the body shop will do the same and find you a new panel. try to find a new panel first.

panel is held on with plastic almost "rivet" like things. if you go carefully you may be able to get it off without breaking if you take your time

Next time take & post pics & also tell us what you did to fix it. That way, your experience might help someone else in the future. It's how we keep the tech going on these forums .
