Rear hatch

Ok this might be a dumb question but I wanna swap my rear hatch but do I hafta pull all my Wires out of the hatch or is there a harness plug in the back somewhere?

There is a connection above the speaker box in the back I belive. I had to get in there for a rear wiper motor replacement.
