Rear end? Transmission?
I have an awful vibration/rumbling that only occurs during my initial acceleration from a dead stop. It feels like the rear end is bouncing around as I'm accelerating. I'm not sure what the problem is... It also hampers the ability to shift into 2nd, it hesitates to shift before it vibrates, if I feel it coming on I can back off the gas and ease back into it and it doesn't vibrate. It feels like something isn't catching in the rear end but if that was the case would it not vibrate consistently and not from a stop only?

Have you checked all of the bushings in the rear suspension, and the drivetrain?
