Default Rear end noise when hard turn

Hi,
99 cherokee xj 2wd. Recently I noticed that sometimes when making a sharp turn I hear this weird noise coming from the rear. It sounds like I have a bottle of fluid in the trunk compartment that like flipped over and is spilling its content (imagine a bottle of detergent flipped over with no cap spilling out).
The jeep has new shocks as well as springs. Any ideas?
Can it be the tires, differential, exhaust system shaking?

I would start by just grabbing all the parts underneath and trying to move them side to side. Could just be something came loose. From the nose you described, I'm thinking fuel tank. Could even be the fuel itself sloshing,

Assuming there isn't a tipped over detergent bottle back there (hey, never know...), is your rear diff fluid in good shape and at the proper level?

mechanic refilled the diff in decemeber when he changed the seals. So I am assuming its at the proper level and oil is in good shape. How do you check the diff fluid level.
Do you think the diff is going out?

youd have to have a damn good ear to hear diff fluid sloshing around LOL.
i have to agree with mustang guy, its probably fuel. my '88 xj's fuel tank's baffles have collapsed inside, and whenever i make a turn i hear the fuel sloshing and my gas gauge goes up and down by as much as half a tank. but i digress... you can hear fuel sloshing around in a lot of vehicles if you listen hard enough.

I think you guys are right about the fuel tank (it sounds like its coming from there).
Also wouldn't a bad differential make like a grinding noise not a sloshing noise. My buddy is saying something about backlash inside the diff (although he never heard the noise or checked it out, it this is just one of his ideas when I spoke to him on the phone about it)?

For sure, lol. I was more worried about the diff being low and making noise on turns. Posi's tend to do that when the fluid is low or worn out, not sure if that's what he has. Gas tank seems a more likely possibility though.
