Rear End Noise
A couple weeks ago, I sank the rear end of my cherokee and the pinion seal started leaking. I took it to a friend's shop and they replaced it and tightened my pinion because they said it was loose. Once I got it home, I changed out all of the watered down oil in the rear axle and replaced it with 75w140. The gears looked fine.
The problem is, when driving down the street, it sounds like I can hear all of the gears moving around.(very loud) and my limited slip won't disengage.
I don't wanna mess it up more by driving it around like that, so I'm here seeking help.
Specs: Stock Dana 44, limited slip, (i think)-> 3.07s, 1987
