Yes you can find a 44 with 3.07's. But they would be VERY rare. The D-44 only came in a few years of Cherokees in the towing package. To find one that had a 5-spd with the towing package would even be more rare.
A Metric Tonne Comanche had the Dana 44 and 3.07's were behind the 4.0l and 5-spd trannies. But you would have to have the spring pads moved for sure. I'm not competely sure about the shock mounts though.
