Trying to troubleshoot a non-functioning rear defrost. (I have ruled out everything in the back and now working my way forward in the vehicle.) Here's the question. Some years ago I replaced a broken driver's side heated mirror with an after market mirror which did have the heating function. Right now, the rear defrost does not work nor does the passenger side heated mirror. Does the fact that the driver side is not a heated mirror factor into the rear defrost/passenger side mirror not working? My assumption is that it would not have any impact on the rear defrost but there are smarter people on this forum who actually would know the answer.
