Default 01GC Heated side mirrors

Have a question about heated side mirrors. Originally have/had non-heated side mirrors. Drivers side recently broke and after researching found that I could replace it with a heated mirror since it is already wired for them. So I replaced it with a heated one. It doesn't seem to work. My question is do I need to replace the passenger side as well to complete the circuit? I haven't had time to go back out and troubleshoot the problem to see if it is getting any voltage and can't seem to come up with anything searching for it.

Thanks ...

Just a guess for now but make sure there isnt a fuse for that mirror. That slot will be empty if it came stock without it.

Welcome to CF. All WJ's are wired for heated rear view mirrors. See this.>http://www.wjjeeps.com/mirrors.htm#UPGRADE

The heated rear view mirror works when the rear window defrost is on. There's a fuse for that. >http://www.wjjeeps.com/fuses.htm

Thanks, the link on wjjeeps is what prompted me to try the heated mirrors. The rear defroster works OK so my assumption was that they should be plug & play. I'll have to go see if I can troubleshoot it further or see if I can get the right-side one as well.

Okay, but I don't think having just the one side would prevent it from working. JMO.
