Default Heated mirrors n rear defrost not working?

So my driver side heated mirror and my rear defrost seem not to b working. But my passenger side mirror seems to warm up??? I do hear like a "ting" in the dash when I hit the switch and the light in the switch lights up. I did jus recently change a headlight bulb and unhooked the negative terminal to the battery cuz the haynes manual said to and when went to hook up the terminal again I heard the cd changer making noise dnt kno what that means? I did notice the mirrors not heating up before I did the headlight. Any ideas?
