rear brakes

quick question about rear brakes. would drums for a d35 work for my 8.25?

it depends some are differnt sizes you would have to measure to make sure

didn't XJ's only use 9" and 10" rear brakes? the bigger ones being for like a 44. after looking into it a bit more i think they will work. thanx
