rear brakeline replacement
I'm replacing my rear brakline since I have a 3 inch lift. Got one off a 96 dakota. When I put the new one on do I have to bleed the front brakes too or just the back? Also do I refill the brake fluid before or after I bleed them?
You need to keep the master cylinder full, before, while and after bleeding.

Since you have to bleed anyway, might be the perfect opportunity to flush the system putting in all new fluid. You will know the system has been fully bled and all the fluid is fresh and there is no air or contaminated fluid.

Pad materials, and/ or no chamfer on the pads. The entire system for flushing buy a qt. After you use it, if there is some left over, and it sits for more than a month, drain it and toss it. Brake fluid is hygroscopic (attracts, and absorbs water).
