Default Rear brake pipe to cylinder fitting

Hi all,i am new to the Jeep Cherokee and i have a 96 Cherokee 2.5 TD Limited SE. I have renewed all the brakes both front and rear but broke the rear nearside pipe. Not realising how hard it would be for me to find somewhere to buy a new connector to attach the actual pipe to the cylinder i threw it out ! Can anyone advise where i can get one from ? My main dealer states that the pipes come with the bolts attached and you cannot get them seperately but that they no longer do them. My local auto factors tells me I have to goto Chrysler to get the part !! HELP, it leaves me stuck !! Thanks

Your looking for brake line fittings. 3/16 brake line is the diameter and I believe there is nothing special about the length of that fitting. The dealer has already discontiued one piece replacements , so the only thing you can do is make the replacement yourself or take it to a garage that can do it for you. Your overseas right?

Default Thanks *****

I am in the U.K and have been onto my local Factors. They told me that I have to goto jeep themselves to buy the fittings ( the nut that makes up the end of the pipe and screws into the cylinder ). Jeep have said they do nit supply it hence my being stuck. I am trying to finish the brakes off so it will go through the mot before making other upgrades.

Thanks Dougie

You'll need 3/8" 24TPI male nuts (no lead) for 3/16" brake pipe. Ebay has them.

You'll also need a flaring tool.
