I just cleaned my throttle body with carb cleaner spray. Obviously there's a whole lot of liquid in the intake after that that has to burn off. I got her started and I was hard to keep her running (expected) I just held the rpms at about 1500-2000 for a few seconds, then it idled. I noticed an odd noise, so I got my screwdriver and held it up to my ear, and I got the noise the loudest from the injectors. It's an odd noise, almost like the noise a power washer makes, it's the loudest from injector 1, and even louder on the intake manifold it's attached too. I also ran out of gas yesterday (in my driveway) just playing around with it and checking out my new tune up
. I got some old gas from my shed, and I put some dry gas in it (stabl if you call it that) (the red one in the clear bottle. Then I noticed my oil pressure gauge was a little more jumpy than usual. The pictures attached show it was warmed up, idling, and you can see the oil pressure... It went even higher at one point (about 3 o clock on the gauge) but that was before I thought to take a picture. Bad sender? I've been thinking it was bad for a while now because it was kinda jumpy, and my oil pressure seemed a bit too high. I just changed my oil a few days ago and put in 10w-30 pennzoil.
Thanks

yep sender unit, also those wires are kind of finicky. take some brake cleaner and a rag and clean it off and a pair of channel locks to loosen it clean it out and then throw it back on. fixed mine until i could get a mechanical.

It's really not "pegged" it still moves, but it seems too far forwards... When you unscrew the sender doesn't oil pour out? Will carb cleaner work?
