I would call and ask if they would charge to listen to the noise and help you out. Most shops around here dont charge unless they hook it up to a diagnosis machine of some sort. But I would just tell them that your short on cash right now and that your trying to find out just what is making the noise first, then you can figure out what you can afford.

Yeah I looked for the adjustment nut but I have no clue where it is

Ask a shop to take a short drive with it and see what they say. They won't charge you unless they say before they do it.

Default motor/tranny mounts???

Hey bro, I had a very similar situation in a vehicle I used to have, and I know it sounds remedial, but have you checked your tranny mount and motor mounts? The resenation of that sound, along with the fact that it only happens under great torque load of your engine leads me to believe you possibly ripped a mount somewhere and some drive-train component is actually making contact with your chassis or undercarriage... Just a thought. Good luck!

I was going to suggest this as well.

I had a similar experience with my YJ, & it turned out a rock had lodged itself between the tranny & skidplate/crossmember. (drove me nuts for a week) Take a close look at everything that could make a noise if it was bent & could be touching something it normally wouldn't, when the engine/ trans/T-case is torqued over the direction it would be under acceleration. This would be clockwise as viewed from the rear of the vehicle.

Hmm i may look around at that, another thing is that about a month ago a buddy and i took for a hell drive and kept on shifting my transfer case. The noise actually seemed to go away some, it happens about half as much as it did before we did that and the noise is no longer as bad when it does happen. So idk if that means anything either
