I might hit it with some medium strength thread lock while im at it to prevent it from happening later on. I called my step dad who is a mechanic and he said just wrench tight should be fine... Also recommended having a buddy crank it a bit to get it to spin if its difficult. We will see how things go... Thanks again. Some light at the end of the tunnel haha

Tightened the four hex bolts on the flex plate which were indeed loose and backed out an eighth to a sixteenth. Unfortunately the rattle continues
Not sure which step to take next. I tried a stethoscope aka 19mm wrench with my fist at one end and my ear to it... (Actually works and was recommended by a mechanic unless you have the real thing) Still sounds like its in the oil pan/flex plate area. I also noticed a small amount of exhaust in the engine bay with my flashlight when I was underneath while it was running , almost looked as if it was coming out near the o2 sensor or maybe even higher at the headers (not too sure) could not seem to find any cracks in the piping.. hmm. Sure would like this rattle to go away
