i ahve a rattle around my steering column, sounds like a thin piece of metal.. dunno what it could be. my dash has a creaking noise right above the radio are and i have the same damn glovebox noise that bowtie has described

After reading/replying to this yesterday, my '98 must have read my mind...
Now, in addition to all the other misc. sounds, the steering wheel makes these little farting sounds when I turn it...

 

 

now i am noticing a other sound... kinda a faint clank. only hear when my foot is off teh gas, don't know if my motor is jsut bad *** and growls like a wilderbeast and cant hear it or it is a symptom.

woudl it jsut be the u-joints?

 

ujoints wont usually make a rattling sound, you feel them before you hear them.

 

tell me you dont find that alittle amusing

Mine rattles everywhere. Just turn up your stereo

 

mine rattles from driveline vibes since i dont have an sye..but it only does it from 55-65 under hard acceleration. it could be anything and ive just gotten used to the jeep noises. i crank up the radio!

 

Everything rattles on my 91'. The darn rattle in the Drivers door is annoying ...i simply put the window down like 1/2" ALL GONE!!
As for the dash.....i have never found it...just turn up the radio
