Default RANDOM TICKING!!!

No its not a bomb underneath my seat, the ticking is what I'm thinking is a lifter tick. I have a bad exhaust leak at the manifold I was going to fix this weekend but this ticking just started tonite as I pulled up to my house and it is a constant ticking that goes up with the rpm's. Could it be a lifter from my exhaust leak? it literally just started while the manifold has been leaking for a couple weeks now.

The manifold leak itself might be the source of the ticking sound, they tend to get worse over time. Doubtful that a manifold leak will cause lifter trouble. How's the oil and filter?

Would it lower my oil pressure barely since the amount of back pressure is less? And a fresh oil change and filter 10w30 Pennzoil gold with a mopar filter.

Get thee to the Store Of Ye Old Auto Parts and buy a mechanic's stethoscope. Poke that thing around here and there and you'll be amazed at what you can learn. It's 20 bucks very well spent!
