Default Rampage h4 headlamps!

What does everybody think of these? They look pretty cool and they have got to do a lot better than my crappy stock lights!

I found them here on quadratec site.....they look ok....but I prefer the IPF's. I want good light without blinding people...and the IPF's are very well designed and with my 80/100 watt H4 bulbs....they are bright but not blinding. Below is the link to the headlamps.

Thanks bsljacques

I was trying to figure out how to add a link or photo with my phone!

With your higher wattage bulbs did you need to add a Heavy duty wiring harness?

I never liked the "clear lens" conversions... they are usually designed for looks instead of performance. The light pattern leaves much to be desired.

I knew I was going to run higher wattage...so Yes! But also I didn't like how these trucks have been known to be hard on headlamp switches and headlight wiring...so I wanted to be safe. Now it get power right from the battery and on a stock setup with just a harness it will improve the power to the headlights. The Light pattern on the IPF's is great....I love my setup! Check out the writeup in the XJ section....you will see the light pattern from my Infiniti G35 with HID's and then my jeep with the new set up....and you can see a huge difference.

^ x2 I have this same setup and love it. I have not stepped up to the 80/100 watt bulbs yet but my IPF bulbs are super bright but not blinding. After I put the harness in I was amazed by the output.

I wasn't talking about good kits... I'm talking about the no-name crap with the faceted reflector and clear lens (like the ones pictured above).

Nope...but if you have inspections...you would want to stay with 55/60.

I have used them most of my life in my motorcycles...and on some of my cars.

I drove by many a police at night and no problems...but I do have mine adjusted right too...that is a big part of not blinding folks.
