Raising the Alternator...

Raising the Alternator...
I fried my Alternator mudding Friday, and i went to take it out today, and busted 3 13mm sockets just trying to get the bolts off!
While im fighting that...Im thinking I might as well see into this suggestion from my other post, about 'raising' the alternator to a higher location.
i did a search, it only came up with my post lol...
Anyone have any how to's or pics of this? i dont mud that often, but its tempting after a good rain here in TX, like our recent tropical storms that dumped 5" a day and flooded half the city! (yay for us lifted rigs!) haha
