Default Radio shorting when using power windows.

This happens sometimes when i completely roll up or down one of my power windows. it happens 80% of the time when i completely roll up both the front windows or roll them completely down. So far: cleaned battery terminals, cleaned all connections going to alternator, cleaned all engine block and chassis grounds. don't really know where to go next. is it possible i just need a bigger battery? only thing not stock about the truck is the stereo, it has a 10" sub with 300watt amp, the truck was doing this before i put the sub in. and its the factory radio. any ideas where to go from here?

Check all the wires that go from inside the cab into the door. Had a similar problem and one of the wires had worn through.

Does it short out at any volume? Does it come back on as soon as you let off the window switch?

When I first bought my Jeep I would roll my front windows down and I would lose all electronics. The engine would still run but everything on the inside was out. So then I'd turn off the engine and start it again, then everything would work. But once I hit the window switch there it goes again.
So I took it to where I bought it (Ron Carter Dealership) and they took a look at it. Turns out the PO put in a Grand Cherokee module on the front passenger window switch. So I guess it was shorting out, because it shorted out the drivers side too while they were trying to fix it. But they also threw in a new battery too. Everything works great now!

No its got to be at least 1/4 of the way up, and it takes a few seconds to come back on after I let off either or both switches. If I keep the switches held down the radio wont come back on at all. everything else stays on, trip computer, dash lights, gauges, interior lights, just the radio goes out. i'll check the wiring going to both front doors.

The speaker wires are getting caught in the window glass channel, reroute the wires.
