I'm thinking of removing the radio and the two rear speakers to make room for switches on center console and maybe lights in place where speakers are... Someone told me that removing the radio will mess up the engine and cause it to run erratically. Is this true?
I am deaf so I have no use of equipment that produce sound.

The thing you need to do.
1) Find the person that told you that.
2) take a base ball bat and smack them in the side of the head with it. I don't think it can cause any more damage then they already have to thing that a vehicle will run bad if you take out a radio.
3) NEVER!!! Take any advice from this person!!!!

I just wish I didn't do my new headliner few months ago, If I had thought of selling it before I did the headliner, I would have done something else to the holes lol.

Are they blew? If not how much you want for them
Also.. I'd recommend you keep the radio in your jeep and put a switch panel on the roof.. Just my 2 cents.

If I sell the speakers. What am I supposed to do with the radio? I never use it at all and most of my friends all are deaf too. It isn't like they r gonna hop in the jeep and say hey let's listen to music. If removing the radio most certainly doesn't affect the engine performance then I ll just take it off and wire in switches and extra gauges there. It's less work than installing a box on ceiling and making it "pretty" because I already did the headliner few months ago. If I didn't do my headliner, I probably would have made s overhead console for it.

Yeah I would agree. However I have to add that in the 10 years I have drove and owned 8 vehicles, I have never once used the radio. Literally lol.
