Radio question for ya's

Hello all, I replaces my stock radio with an older aftermarket kenwood head unit, some stations come in great, others, that should, have a little bit of static, when I plug in my phone charger, pretty much all stations are full static, could this be a ground issue? Thanks for any help

Either the ground wire doesn't have a good connection or the antenna wire isn't plugged in good in the back.

The antenna is plugged in, I'll check the grounds today

Could be the grounds, or welcome to the wonderful world of electrical interference... I'd that is the case you have a power wire of some sort touching our is too close to a ground or the antenna wire itself
